While being held as prisoners of war, 2 Apaches were sent to Govenors Island to a prison. One was Zes-cloya, also known as Louis. He was a western Apache with the Chiricahuas. I can't seem to remember the other one. Was it Colle? Anyone remember coming across this information in their research? Does anyone know if pictures exist of them at Govenors Island? Or if Kayetenay was photographed while at Alcatraz?

Thanks, my identification exactly. I think the man just behind Geronimo could be Beshe, the man sitting far left is also seen in at least two of the Fort Bowie images... could he be Kilthigai?I agree, Kilthdigai or Motsos. Do we know if Kilthdigai and Tsisnah are one and the same person, or not? And may I ask you to post the Fort Bowie photographs you're referring to? Sounds interesting... IMO I think Kilthdigai and Tsisnah are the same person.

Kayitah, To me, they do not look very similar, I don't know his identification, but you had me convinced the man left is Besh, if not, then who is he? Don't have good images of Kayitah, just the one with Martine taken in the field at Fort Sill and the one with others at Fort Houston... Also have another portrait of Annette Suison: Is there any more info on her? Eeh-to. Entered Carlisle 30 April 1887, after discharge took employment in Jenkinstown, Pennsylvania. She was a Chiricahua.

In that picture Mickey Free is in the front row far left, Chatto is in the center, and Coonie is in the back row, second from the right FYI.

I have this lady as Ziyeh, Geronimo's wife, is this correct? Where did this pic come from? That identification of "Geronimo with Ziyeh and children is wrong. The dates of the picture and children dont match up.

Left to right, the woman identified as Bridget and Susan are:
Naithlotonz and Dashdenzhoos. Daughters of Cochise Full blooded sisters, they were half sisters to Taza and Naiche. Naithlotonz married Fred Gokliz and after his death married Chiricahua Tom. Dashdenzhoos married Tim Kaydahzinne.
