I tried to identify these men at St. Augustine, but there are quite a lot I'm not sure about. I think I also see either Noche or Cathlay in the front row, next to Baculthin, while next to Kaetenna might be Tooisgah, and lower right Mithlo... share your thoughts  Attachments:

It is true, i am reading you everyday but i am not inspired to reply since then. Kayitah, thanks, I will begin again trying to identify those people and add on my list of the 144 "outlaws" on may 1885. I idnetify, yet, Dahn and Dohnsay. I have to identify the others. but it seems that the families of the Geronimo's Band were on the left. I must respectfully disagree on the ID of Dahn, because Sweeney says: "Ahnandia who left his first wife on the reservation" (His second wife was Tah-daste). p. 561 |

thanks for all the photo's.
very interesting pictures. In the large photo found by Kayitah the people look more natural - more like themselves. They are very serious though .... no smiles.
Does anyone know any stories about Nadozhinne?? He seems to be a very proud man.

first Try  When this photo (Chihuahua's group in Fort Marion) was taken? In this one, one warrior missed. as he really missed or was he already dead? In Debo's Geronimo, it is written that one warrior died early after their arrival at fort Marion. I think remenber that he died in june or july 1886. Which one died ? I wish you fellows, an Happy new year 2013  , with a big thinking for the Chiricahuas' granddaughters and grandsons on this particuliar year of anniversary... |
