Diane & Dietmar, Will the threads from the LBHA site also been stored at this board? I think it makes sence to garther them to this board so you don't have to flip over to read them. Just my 2 cents. Henri

Well...what can I add? Its not easy for me to explain in writing how some are constructed but I mostly use for example the pipebags, braintan buckskin. Old beads...which can be bought by Beadmatch.com or Hudsons Bay Indian Trading Post in Germany. The sioux hunting pouch is made with ponybeads. As for the two bonnets....both have real eagle feathers, ermine. The warshirt is made with ponybeads also and has a quilled disk on both sides. Ermine and hair fringes on the sleeves. Henri

Dietmar...if I can share images which has not been placed, I will continue with it. However I have to send them to others to get it in the threads. Must be an easier way to do it myself but don't know how.

While I'm a member from the beginning of this forum, I never told about myself. I'm from the Netherlands and my interest for the Native American started from a young age...maybe as many of you did. For 15 years ago I met a guy who was adopted into the Crow tribe. He learned me how to do beadwork. That was my big mistake.....now 15 years later I can't stop anymore...LOL. First I made lots of Crow beadwork....the last 5 years mainly Blackfoot. Sold alot to people in the USA and kept some for myself. At the moment I'll be surching together with Ephriam, for the ancestors of my "adopted " unci. Ephriam does a wonderful job on this. Well, lets keep up doing the good thing. Regards, Henri

According an article in the winter 1999 issue of Montana, Magazine of Western History, Blackfoot was related to Man Afraid of His Horses ( Blackfoot's brother-in-law ). Do we have more info on this? Henri
