Funny as it goes... I guess I`ve had this scan on my hard-drive for at least a dozen of years... until I realized yesterday that the unidentified man is William Sitting Bull!: photo taken by Oxford & Dillhoff, Brooklyn, New York in May 1902 William was one of the main performers in Buffalo Bill´s Wild West in 1902, among Iron Tail, Tom American Horse and Joe Black Fox. There are about 20 or more pictures taken by Oxford & Dillhoff of that particular tour. Copies are at Yale University (Beinecke Library) and Library of Congress, but they are not online yet.
