Thank you very much to all of you guys for you warm words!Chihuahua is a my special interest and I'm thinking he was about 40-45 in 1886. Colle was looks very young guy in 1876 (see photo) - about 22 years old. Age of Yahnozha is my misprint, Kayitah is right! Almost all data on age were taken by me from the Federal Census Record's lists and from Register of Enlistments.

Very Good work, Naiche! I think some born dates are wrong. Chihuahua and Kutli seemed to be borned more earlier than written on the list. (Chihuahua around 1830-1835 and Kutli around 1835-1845). But your list is a good start to work on it. I agree, but nevertheless very good work! Chihuahua seems older than his brother Ulzana, even though some sources claim that Ulzana is older. He looks much younger than Chihuahua on all photographs. I also think that Yahnozha was born in the early 1860s or mid to late 1850s, since he was Kanseah's "mentor" during the Geronimo Campaign. Chato was probably also a couple years older, around 35-40 in 1886. Kayitah was about the same age as Martine, maybe a few years older, so I think your birthdate of 1856 is about right.

New name: Martine Charles Jr. (Martinez) Nedni 1885 – post 1939 NY Son of Chinche/Chin-chee (Ponce's brother, Killed Mch 8, 1886 in Mexico) and Can-gah-ahshy (1865 – 1916/15). Charles Martine was his step-father Gran-father of David Bunn Martine (born in 1960) He was educated in Hampton (Nov 1911 – May 1916) Hello:
I am David Bunn Martine, (1960-) grandson of Charles Martine, Jr. The date we had for my grandfather's birth was 1886 at Fort Bowie, AZ. He died in 1962 in New York. He married Alice Osceola Bunn Martinez, (1901-1992) Shinnecock/Montauk Algonquian from New York. She was daughter of Charles Sumner Bunn, (1865-1952) Shinnecock/Montauk professional guide, hunter and shorebird decoy carver. We are related to: Chin-chee, Martine, Hugh Chee, Fatty, Harold Dick, Chatto, Nana, Victorio, Mangas.
Thank you for posting the above information. I have added a few more pictures. I reentered the picture of Charles taken at Hampton Institute, Va. in his uniform at which he attended before 1920 and a picture of he and his daughter, my mother, Marjorie Martinez, Ca. 1940's. I have now entered a picture of Charles Martine, Jr. profile Ca. 1940's. During the years after Hampton Institute, he changed his name to Charles Martinez. I also include a photo of my great-grandmother Cah-gah-ashen and Charles Martine, Sr. and a cousin taken at Fort Sill Oklahoma. I believe she and my great-grandfather both passed away at Mescalero, NM.
Best regards,
David Martine

Hello My name is Juan Lopez from Mexico emigrated here to us in 1068. In El Paso Tx joined Tha af active duty. Retired in 06. Ever since I was a a young teen in great school I have been interested in your culture in all of the Apache culture in reference to the warm springs Apaches in exile to Alabama I know of your custom of not naming but I would like to know what happened to the lozen I know she is burried there not marked. I know of several people from a little town called El Porvenir in the Mexican and us border. I used to be married to a young lady where her mother came from there. Her maiden name was tavares and she married into a fellow in Socorro tx his last name was Padilla I looked up some mescalero families by that last name and there is many my brother in law may he rest in peace was Victor Padilla he looked every bit native American too. Any info on the that family would be appreciated also their father looked Avery bit native either warm springs, mescalero or tigua from Ysleta Texas. Don't know
