From Beef Creek Cemetery: CHARLES BICTOWSEWAH APACHE, GRANDSON OF CHEE-AHN-CHEENH, 1874 - 1904 Anybody knows who was Chee-Ahn-Cheenh? Chee-anh-cheenh (pronounced Chee-ah-chee-an) a Chiricahua, no known family. Adopted Charles as his grandson. Chee-anh-cheenh died before 1886. Charles left Carlisle and married a woman from a New York Indian tribe, they had one child, a daughter. Then Charles (sick with TB) rode a bicycle from New Jersey to Ft. Sill in 1902. He died Jan. 2, 1904

Jasper Kanseah, Joseph ? and Alfred? Jasper Kanseah, Alfred Eateh (Standing), and Joseph Ezhunna (Sitting). Alfred (Chiricahua) was born 1877, and with the group to Carlisle April 30, 1887. He took sick and left school March 2, 1892 and was returned to Mount Vernon Barracks, Alabama where he died. No known Family. Joseph (Chiricahua) was born 1878, and also with the group to Carlisle April 30, 1887. He was an orphan, parents unknown, but somehow related to Jasper Kanseah and Tissnolthtos. After Carlisle he lived in Pennsylvania a few years and then moved to New York state where he died in 1904. Never Married.

Is there a reason why you decided to put them there? Also, it seems that the faces of the older men were cropped from one good quality picture. Do you think you could post the original version?
