Thanks Gregor,

that´s in my opinion the highlight of this years Heritage Auction collection.

You can clearly discern Spot, his wife (whom we know from the 1872 delegation photos) and his daughter Sky (or at least that´s the name for her in the W.R. Cross photos).

Does anyone know about the white men in the pictures?

I don't understand your problem - I can see the photos.
Maybe your PC goes over a Proxy server?

I found out last year I may have some relation to Spotted Tail. I’ve been trying to figure out how. So far, I’ve confirmed my Great Great Grandmother in Rosebud from the census records (the earliest one I’ve confirmed is 1887). Her name was Estella Jones. She was 34 in 1887 which means she was born in 1853. She is in all of the census rolls after that, but I can’t find anything earlier. All I know is she was married to William B. Jones (who is not on the records because I’m assuming he was white?). Is there some way I can figure out who Estella’s parents were? That would get me closer to how she may have been related to ST
