I need information on this man, I know he is the Miniconjou because I know what happened to Frog, after the Battle of Little Bighorn, Frog joined with the Cree and changed his name to Chiefstick, my great great grandmother is Little Girl and she is the daughter of Roman Nose and Bad Face, I'm just looking for my tiyospaye.

Welcome to the forum. Here's what I can share on the Miniconjou leader Roman Nose, others can possibly add to this. He had a least one son, Charging Eagle, born ca. 1847, so Roman Nose probably was born in the 1820's. He was also known as Afraid Of His Shield. He was photographed in the well-known Fort Laramie photo by Alexander Gardner in 1868. A year prior, he went on a diplomatic mission to the Crows with fellow Miniconjou leader Lone Horn, wanting to distance himself from RedCloud's Bozeman Trail War after the Fetterman Fight. He stayed with the Crows for some months, first just his immediate family then eventually joined by 12 tipi's from his tiyospaye. He left their camp in late spring or early summer.
