In February 1876, during a tiswin fight between eskinye follower and Taza's supporters, a grandson of Cochise was killed. Who was he? From which child of Cochise (Naiche with Nadeyole)? In 1876 too, Dorothy Naiche was born. She was daughter of Eclah-eh who married Naiche in 1876. I think eclah-eh was in fact Taza last wife. Naiche married her in a traditionnal way after the death of his brother. Looking at Doorthy as an adult, I see a heavy built woman like Taza and Mangas Coloradas were described. So I questionned myself if Dorothy could be Taza's daughter born just or after the Death of the young chief in Washington. If you have information, I am interrested.

I think that grandson of Cochise was not a Naiches son but a Cochise’s daughter’ s son, probably the son of Naithlotonz and her husband She-ta who was a son of Chiva (one of the Bedonkohes leaders after Mangas Coloradas death.)
Regarding Dorothy, I’ ve always taken for granted she was Naiches and Eclahheh’s daughter, I had no idea about she being Taza’s wife. I don’t know in which 1876 month Dorothy was born. Chief Taza and the delegation left to Washington D.C. at the end of July but Taza apparently died on September 26, 1876. If that info about Eclahheh being Taza’s wife is correct and Dorothy was born after Taza’s dead, it could be..
