It says "Medicine Man of the White Mountain Apache". My guesses would be Chief Eskiminzin or The Dreamer? Good luck finding out.

Who's the dreamer? I honestly don't think I've heard of him but idk... I'm just curious to know Nock-ay-det-klinne also known as "The Dreamer". He was a Medicine Man who claimed that he could raise the dead. At first his following was small and they would do the "Ghost Dance" and drink tiswin. Eventually word of his Power spread thronghout the Apache land. Eventually major war chiefs like Nana and Juh learned of this man. Nana, Geronimo, Lozan, Nana, Juh, Chatto, Chihuaha, Loco and others were down in Mexico and Nana and Lozan agreed to travel to San Carlos to see for themselves. Nana came back to Mexico and told Geronimo that he had personally seen "The Dreamer" raise Victorio and Mangas Coloradas back from the dead from the ground up to their knees. And they returned to the ground. The Dreamer came along at a time when most of the Apaches had been subjugated and were desperate looking for any hope. This man recieved gifts from many powerful Apache leaders. Eventually the U.S. Military sent a battle hardened Lt. Colonel Carr and 100 Soldiers, 25 Apache Scouts to investigate. Well all but one of the Scouts turned on the soldiers as they arrested The Dreamer and were taking him away to Fort Apache for questioning. What happened is famously known as "The Mutiny at Cibecue". Afterwards the scouts who mutinied were rounded up and executed and Geronimo returned to Mexico. Its a lesser known fact from that era. www.linkedin.com/pulse/dreamer-life-death-apache-medicine-man-robert-tilford

Oh wow that's an interesting story... Ok no offense or anything but I'm lowkey curious on that part when you said that he could raise victorio and Mangas Coloradas back from the dead on to the ground, what do you mean by that like we're they spirits when they came up or did they come up as their original selves or what?
No offense... I'm just curious

Its not... nokk ay det klinne
And btw the white mtn apache were never subjugated...they cooperated with the army and provided scouts for ft apache...the dreamer held ghost dances that gathered thousands on cibecue and it was said he raised cochise, victorio, and mangus coloradus spirits from the dead...and they were not happy about it...when asked what the apache should do about the whites they said ...live in peace with them
Geronimo was bedonkohe and lived on san carlos as did Naiche and cochises chiricahua...the white mtn apache lived above san carlos near cibecue and whiteriver...different band altogether
The army gathered up the dreamer and his wife and son to escort them to ft apache when the scouts rebelled and attacked them...in the ensuing battle the dreamer was killed with an axe...and his son was shot
The battle of ft apache happened the next day
Geronimo and the chiricahua fled to mexico
The army messed up big they fired the head of Az and, general crook was called in to make peace and sat down with the white mtn chiefs for two weeks and herd them out...they all trusted crook...he did everything he could to make it right...and restored the peace...he fired officers, chewed many out, transfered some and fired contractors too...they then went down to mexico and sat with geronimo and herd him out...Crook convinced geronimo to come back to whiteriver and farm at turkey creek..which he did peacefully for a year....until his 1885 breakout after a huge tizwin drunk....
