Crow Eagle

"Low Dog", one of our posters, asked in another thread for information about Crow Eagle. I am not exactly sure if he is Hunkpapa, but will move the thread if someone can give us the correct band affiliation.

Thanks for posting those photos of Crow Eagle Dietmar, anybody know anything about the man?
I notice that in the group photo two men are named as Fool Thunder and Iron Thunder, I'm wondering if the person identified as Fire Thunder who was part of the delagation who went to see Wovoka was in fact one of those two, and that what we have hear is a misspelling.
Again, does anybody out there know anything about either of those men?

Was he with Buffalo Bill in 85? The only other Notmans I know are those featuring Sitting Bull.

There's a similarity, I admit, but that's not Crow Eagle (is it?)

Mmmh, I thought he is the same, but now I wonder...

At least the man in the Sitting Bull group photo seems to be the same as the one labelled White Eagle by Notman.

There were several Lakota named Crow Eagle, including two at Standing Rock, one at Pine Ridge, another at Rosebud and a family by this name at Cheyenne River.
