My name is Vincent Blaine Hager. Philomine Rose Meade/Neade is my grandmother, Louise Lowdog is my great grandmother. I am very interested in learning of my relatives in Nevada where my grandmother told us Aunt Regina lived. My Fathers name is Victor B Hager, he was adopted by Fred Hager. My father passed in 1977. I have 2 brothers, 4 sisters and 1 half sister. Most of us live in the rapid City, South Dakota area. I am in the phone book.

My name is Vince Hager, great-grandson of Louise Lowdog, her daughter Philomine Rose Neade/Meade. My father's father was Joseph Jordan. My father was born Victor B. Jordan. He was adopted by Alfred Hager, and so his last name was changed to Hager.. my siblings and myself are always seeking more knowledge of our family's history and ancestors. The information supplied on this forum has helped with dates and times to complete some of our missing information.  Our great aunt Regina's family is part of our missing family history that we would like to find answers to our questions. I was just a child when my Grandma Rose, my father's mother, relocated to Chicago with her husband Jerry Young. She did not speak much about her life growing up so it has left an empty space we would like to  fill in our family tree.

First, regarding the photos above: I'd seen the second photo. That's a picture of Regina Hager's grandfather (Regina was the daughter of Louisa Low Dog, who was the daughter of (Joshua?) Low Dog, pictured here. I didn't know he'd been a prisoner, although I knew he'd been in trouble with the law in the 1880s or so. Does anyone have any more details on his incarceration?
