I came across this tonight while looking for some other information. It is a cooperative site between several Montana colleges and a museum. The full title is "Indian Peoples of the Northern Great Plains Online Image Database." Images were digitized and drawn from the library collections of three of the Montana State University campuses ( Bozeman, Billings, and Havre), the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, and Little Big Horn College in Crow Agency, Montana. It looked interesting. www.lib.montana.edu/digital/nadb/Ruth

on the website recently posted by ignimbrite, { a really excellent one by the way with some interesting examples of ledger art,} there is another photograph of the group which is titled Hump. This was obviously taken at the same time as the one posted on the board dealing with High, or Tall Bear, but is a little clearer, and as a result it is easier to see that he is indeed the same man as that in the photograph labelled High Bear, in this image one can see that he is wearing the same clothing, or rather lack of it as that photograph, which means that all three photographs must have been taken around the same time.
