Ladonna - these are your beliefs and therefore it is definitely your choice.
I think that it is appropriate for the Lakotas (and other tribes) to keep your most sacred beliefs as a personal tradition.

Rain in the face put who he was on his shield and if a person did not know who he was they would not understand the symbols
I just did not want to put that into the public because there are things that should only be talked about by men, even
though I know what it is not my right to say it, does that make sense.
