Can someone tell what tribe are these scouts from?

Lt Kislingbury's Sioux scouts either at Fort Sisseton or Belle Fourche or at Fort Yates, depending on who you believe; 1877 by F, J. Haynes. There's another haynes photo of Indian scouts dressed in army coats but wearing feathers in their hair, pretending to ambush some people. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't the same group. I imagine this is as good an image of the way Northern Plains Indians of this period dressed (in a non-ceremonial fashion) as any - give or take the odd pair of skin leggings and the odd hat.
