Hello friends, I'm leaving for a three week trip to the USA starting next week. Through the good offices of Richard Iron Cloud I am giving a public lecture at the Woksape Tipi (Library) at Oglala Lakota College, 3 Mile Creek Road, Kyle, South Dakota 57752-0310. The time is Sunday, Sept. 22, 1.00-3.00 p.m. I'll be talking about the Kiyaksa Oglala, their sub-bands and leadership, and hope to secure attendance by some of the old people who may still have stories and knowledge to share. Hope any American-tribes members around the Pine Ridge and Rosebud reservations may be able to make it too.

Wish I was able to go. Hope you have a safe trip. If possible, I hope you can learn more about my G.G.G. Grandfather Charging Eagle while you are there.
