I am seeking further info on one Red Tomahawk. Based on a notation in the National Archives, he was captured by a troop of Indian Scouts shortly before or after Wounded Knee. In that scout troop were Bear Dog (St. Francis), Brings Three White Horses (Norris, SD), Thunder Hawk (St. Francis) One Feather (Wood, SD) and Stands For Them (Corn Creek), all of the Rosebud Reservation.
When I search Red Tomahawk I'm swamped with entries for the Standing Rock Indian policeman Red Tomahawk who is alleged to have killed Sitting Bull. Of course this is not the Red Tomahawk I seek. Any info very welcome on either Red Tomahawk or any members of the scout troop listed above. Thanks. John Hafnor
