Can a "newbie" make a suggestion ??
Can you flip the replies to threads .... so that the last reply reads first ?? ( maybe I'm just being lazy .... but it's a pain to have to scroll !! )

I believe that can be done, but I'd like to hear from more people before we do that. I think it would be very confusing for people who first visit the site because they would have to scroll all the way down and/or go to another page to see the original question.
Perhaps another solution will work for you, Annie. If you go to the bottom of the main page, there is a line in the information section that says, "View the 25 most recent posts of this forum." If you click on that, you will see a list of the last posts. If you see something you would like to reply to, you can click on the thread name and be taken directly to the place where that reply appears without having to scroll. Please try that and see if that makes it easier for you.

As I'm a techno duck .... I'm not sure how to explain it ... but the original post is always there - at the top ... it's just the replies that are flipped !!...... But I will take your suggestion and try it Diane !!

Yes, the original post is at the top, and the others are in chronological order under it, starting with the oldest and ending with the most recent.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand how you think the replies are flipped.

Right underneath my reply ( that I'm writing to you now ) is my original post ... ( which was the first on this thread ! ) Your post ........... that I am replying to ....... is at the bottom of the thread I was asking if your post ( which is the one I'm replying to ) could be at the top instead of the bottom ... when I'm making a reply !! I said I was a dufuss didn't I ??

Oh . . . now I get it! Sorry. I didn't realize you meant while you were writing a reply.
No, that can't be changed. In fact, if you preview your message and go back to change something, all of the messages will have disappeared.
If I'm writing a long reply or know there are several points I want to respond to, I open a second copy of the board so that I can switch between the two.
The PMs really drive me nuts because you can't see what the person asked when you're replying. I open a second copy of their note then, too.
