Does anyone have information on this woman, the wife of Crow Dog, a Sicangu.
She appears in 'Lone Eagle...The White Sioux' by Floyd Shuster Main, 'The Custer Battle Casualties, II' by Richard G. Hardorff and in 'Custer's Fall' by D.H. Miller, as killing two of Custer's soldiers in the river.
Crow Dog is prominent in the factionalism that occurred at the Spotted Tail Agency and as we know, murdered Spotted Tail in August 1881 and died in 1910. I assume One Who Walks was with him there, but after the Little Big Horn, I can find no mention of her.
Any information would be welcome. Thank you in advance.

Welcome tunkasila, for some unknown reason we don´t have a thread on Crow Dog yet. However, jinlian has posted a photo of Crow Dog´s family earlier: Photo by Grabill 1890 Crow Dog´s wife should be standing far left.

It shows she was alive in 1890 at least. I'm hoping that a Crow Dog thread will start up and reveal more. Tunkasila
