It's reproduced in "The Death of Crazy Horse: A Tragic Episode in Lakota History" by Richard G. Hardorff, page 87. Original is from West Point Library.

I had obtained that image from West Point to use in With My Own Eyes, but looking at my copy I've apparently forgotten that it was one of the images that was cut due to the Press's need to limit photographs. Disappointing. What is it that you want to know?

Hi, do you look for this picture? The photo was allegedly shot by Charles Howard. He was a private in the Fourth Infantry and served as photographer for the Stanton Expedition in 1877. For more on Howard see here: www.american-tribes.com/Photographers/BIO/Howard.htm

Thank you. That it the photo I was looking for. And I`ve seen another one too, made from distance, but the graves do not look alike.
