Sioux memory gems book from descendant of auth

hello all im new so please bear with me, I have a book called Sioux memory gems that was given to me from Claude j (Andy)Anderson sports writer for the San Bernardina sun telegram in California and direct descendant of myrtle miller Anderson/j.a Anderson -author/photographer of said book it was their personal copy handed down to family who i used to do yard work for, and was given as gift but now both deceased.. in almost perfect condition minor rubs lower front edges the inside pages are in perfect condition no discoloring,smudges or wear looks as if it was untouched by human hands it does not have any inscription inside but I'm sure it can be authenticated/verified of origin I've seen it on amazon .com from 350.00 to 100.00 i would like to sell it for 1000.00 considering the rarity and it was author and photographers personal copy and feel it should be returned to the rosebud reservation or the Sioux tribal archives or? i did just seen a collection of j.a Anderson photos just sell at auction for 30-35.000$. so I'm sure this book is of similar value ....also ive been tryin to research my family tree my mom told me that my dads mom was full blooded cherokee indian making my dad 1/2 and me 1/4 i assume but can not find or do not have all the information from dads family, fathers name was arnold roger miller,his mom was winnie(miller), not madien tribal name and hisdad was sonny miller but was not indian our familyhome town was parkersburg,west virginia and she would have been 100 yrs old or so is there any way to check the cherokee heritage for winnie miller to see if she/i am of indian blood please help w/book and genealogy i would donate the book but am at extreme financual hardship do to my mom just passing of cancer and excessive medical/burial costs at this time im 51 years old and my mom and dad seperated when i was 3 and had no contact with any other family on dads side and mothers family are all in germany where i was born (heidelburg) but do not know of my dads kin i tried to go on ancestory .com but could only go so far with info i have so if theres a data base or tribal archive website that i could put in what names i do have of family but grand ma was winnie miller- (married) name and she was supposed to be full blooded cherokee as far as i know and only have a few family members left under 15 total in whole family tree that i know of but arent from my dads side sorry post was so long thanks to you all send info to [e-mail] thanks and god bless

I had 3 personal copies of "Sioux Memory Gems", all signed by Myrtle Anderson. One copy was once owned by a Rosebud Tribal member and had several tribal names inscribed. I donated that one to the Sinte Gleska Heritage Center (which is what you should consider if you're going to donate anything - email me for the contact.) The book is rare, but not THAT rare.

I purchased each of mine for research for around $50 each. I'm sorry for your financial hardship, but this book isn't the way out.
