what were/are the tribal face paint colors. in study class we had to read the white indiana books and they gave purrple and white for Erie green and yellow for the sencie were this true what are some more

i believe the paint and color differ from one tribe to another and the reasons to use the paint,
that each used paint according to ones society, according to one clan or band and ones dreams,
purple would be uncommon for most of the tribes.

What do you want to know? Each warrior would decorate his shield according to his visions or clan society.
