Lick - Sioux ?

[Historian]

While the photo below taken by F.A. Rinehart in 1900 has been labeled as a Sioux man known as "Lick", I have not been successful at determining if Lick is Oglala, Mniconjou, Sicangu, etc. Would anyone have any suggestions to research this man's tribal identity further?

On a side note, the hide shirt Lick is wearing in the photo, has beadwork strips with designs that to my eye, look more like Crow beadwork, especially with the tubed Ermine skins. Plus, the bandolier bag has beadwork designs that appear to be Winnebago (aka Ho-Chunk) in origin. If Lick was Sioux (aka Lakota), perhaps the shirt and bag were provided as "props" by the photographer.
