[These last two purport to show Buck Taylor, a Buffalo Bill Wild West Show veteran, with an Apache group. I think there's a related photo further up the thread] I think this is the same Apache group as in your photos.

Hi Naiche...glad you like the photo! Very handsome man! That photo was taken by George A. Brown. Hmmmmmmm well makes ya wonder about the jacket he is wearing. Could it be a son??? I can give you the information on Jesse's collection. As I said I am a novice who just happened to have a Gr-granddad as a collector of pictures. I'm sorry, but I do not understand you. Whose son would you like to say? Naiche about 1893 at Mount Vernon

Naiches.....I was up super late looking at all the pictures.....I think I wrote down what I was thinking....perhaps over excited! I was only going by what the Arizona Historical Society had concluded in the collection. Been learning so much here as well.....so while I was looking around I was checking out one of your posts from Feb 21, 2011 about Apache Scouts...I wrote down stuff but looking at the notes I was a frantic writer...So if I remember there was a picture and somebody wrote " That guy on the right I have seen him before....then another person wrote back "That man was known as "San Carlos Dude" or just "Dude" The picture had one Cavalry man at the far right next to "Dude" I have a picture of Jesse's Cavalry troop and pretty sure that his name is Corporal Wagner at Fort Apache 1892....I will only post the " Cavalry pic if it doesn't offend anybody. One more thing about offending anybody......The photo of Geronimo being taken by train w Naiche where everybody is sitting in front of the train on the slope.....Jesse wrote the names of the men in the same bottom row...would I be stepping out of line? ? I am just helping I hope to maybe put names and dates to some fine folks who maybe would like to know..... P.S.*Oh I found it! The "San Carlos" photo. It was under Western Apache then I went to "Scouts" then page 2.

naiches...yes, yes that is the photo! Well wow Jesse knew two of the men by different names. But he did write out Peaches full name but used names and circles on their legs. Ok so this is a page from one Jesse's scrapbooks. It is from a very old National Geographic magazine. Jesse writes at the top of the page Chicken Hawk (is he Fun/Fatty?) , Peaches, Nachee, Geronimo, Skippy Joe (Chappo?) and at the end on the right side Jesse wrote: "see the little guns we use." Along the left side he writes: "Rings are the Indians was with us when we arrested Bill Voice (Bill Voris) and Frank Ketcher (Frank Ketcherside) he shot a Chief" (at Cibecue Creek), 1895. Bill Voris was the shooter. Jesse, Peaches and Chicken Hawk and about 20 other men led by Lt. Fenton found Bill and Frank hiding in a cabin and arrested them. Again this is all according to Jesse's diary.....thank you so much I have learned so much reading comments and checking pictures out!!!! After the arrest on the way back to Ft. Apache from Cibecue Creek they all went around by Globe to San Carlos (stopped there for a few days) the "over the summit" to Ft. Apache. Is there a summit??? I'd sure like to know, and is it known by a name?
