Kaathenay had a second wife, seemed older (from 3 years) than Guyan. Her mane was Nah-Nah-Tsan borned in 1854 and died in 1913 before going to Mescalero.I do not find yet if they had children.
Guyan and Kaatheany had at less 3 children: Richard (1889-1905) Bruce (1890-1910) Ruth (1896-1899)

Mystic Woman
1.From tomb at Oklahoma: "Nah-Nah-Tsan Apache Wife of Ka-Ah-Te-Ney Mother of Big Belle 1864 - 1913"
2. From another tomb at Mescalero, NM: Nah-hahT-San (1854 - 1915) + In Census Roll 30 june 1913 she was in NM with Kaahteney (!!!).
I think only very good person has two tombs (for example: Minnie Zurega Chiricahua -- Attention! -- grand-daughter of Nah-Nah-Tsan, James and Belle (Big Belle) Nicholas' daughter).

Mt Vernon photo obviously misidentified as Kahdezhinne. Shows 2 children, Kaywaykla would have been at Carlisle. Attachments:

kaa = ammunition (arrows or bullets) edi = it is all gone (the i on the edi is nasalized) ni = the one that is. In this case ni would better be translated as 'the one whose', combining to translate as 'The one whose ammunition is all gone'. I would need to look up the high tones.

Ammo in the instance that before the spanish, anglo no bullets would have considered, thus the orig intent 'arrows' I would think on the high tones though

Kaa means ammunition. It does not now nor has it ever meant only "arrows", even before the Spanish showed up. Kaateney lived long after the Spanish showed up. In Chiricahua Apache language, there is no way to distinguish between arrows and bullets without adding a descriptive phrase or context information.

"thus the orig intent 'arrows' I would think" as in premise, einstein aint no one argue with you so keep your mindset in keel. Oh yeah I know what it means and many before this NDE had the name or maybe your still of the gringo way of lets write about the apache which means enemy, thus aint no one your enemy here, except maybe yourself

So the original intent is an English concept? Interesting hypothesis.

Revised spelling after checking. The current orthography is still subject to a tiny bit of interpretation, but for the most part is fairly settled. K’aa’édįńí In case this board doesn't copy that spelling properly: Spelled as a "k" with an apostrophe to make it a glottalized "k" sound, double "a", an apostrophe representing a glottal stop, "e" with a high tone, a "d" (which is sometimes difficult to differentiate from a "t" sound), a nasalized letter "i", an "n" with a high tone, and an "i" with a high tone. In a previous comment, I neglected to glottalize the "k" which turns it into an entirely different word.
