I want to let the board Know that we have been approved to Bring Dora Brave Bull home to Standing Rock
it has been 126 years since she died at carries and now will come home to her family.

That is good news indeed, LaDonna! Dora Brave Bull aka Her Pipe came to Carlisle Indian School in October 1879, age 16, and passed away on 04/24/1881. She was listed in the Carlisle records as a Lakota girl from Rosebud, a relative of Sicangu Chief Iron Shell. These are her portraits taken from group photos at Carlisle:     |
