After doing some research, I noticed that there seems to be several connections that tie back to Mary "May" Featherman (of which I have found at least two people by this name). Following my own family allotment records, I traced back a Mary Stabber who married Crandall Stabber (1875). She was also married to John Featherman (1885) after 1910. This is where the Stabber and Featherman family trees intersect. Mary and Crandall Census Record: 1910 Census - Pine RidgeMary and John Featherman Census Record: 1920 Census - Pine Ridge
I've also seen Mary Featherman being attributed to Mary Iron Cedar Woman, but I haven't found any connection to these two people. Also, I've seen the Featherman name attributed to Swift Bird (Alexander LaChapelle), but I haven't actually seen any census records that reflect this. John Featherman's mother was Eagle Feathers or Wears Eagle Feathers and she was married to Flies Above, however, he was not the father of John Featherman. 1904 Census - Pine Ridge
