Hello and thank you for allowing me to join. I am (trying) researching Bear Foot. I have found some amazing photos of him via Google and I am now looking for any other history that may be available. I think I have found him on the Census. I am looking for anything that I can find to build a bigger picture. Thank you all in advance. Sarah.

I've seen information for what I believe are two different people named Bear Foot. Because you posted in the Brule/Sicangu thread I'll mention the Brule one first:
1) There is a Bear Foot living at Crow Creek in the late 1800s (born about 1850). Wife is listed as Bear Foot Woman (born about 1858), son Harry Bear Foot (born about 1880), daughters Stand in a Wood (born about 1882)and Mollie Bear Foot (born about 1885). I also found in one census record a daughter named Coming to Life, however, I don't see her on any other records so I believe she died when she was little.
2) There is a Bear Foot living in Pine Ridge in the late 1800s (born around 1850). His wife was Roan (born about 1850) and his daughter is Lizzie Bear Foot (born about 1880). Lizzie was also called Comes After Her Horses.

This is Bear Foot of Pine Ridge, who served as a private at Fort Omaha in Company I, 2nd U.S. Infantry from 1891 to 1894. After their discharges he and Blue Shield together with their families went back in January 1894 to Pine Ridge. Bear Foot later performed several times in Wild West Shows. Most of his portraits were taken while on tour with them at the turn of the 19th and 20th century:
