I am looking for info on a james davis junior who originates either lake traverse , or out at santee . I'm unsure which one he was born at , his father bore the same name james davis senior .
James davis senior was a soldier in the civil war and received a pension. He goes from fort snelling minnesota .
Then to sisseton . And then from there to santee out in niobrara ne.
His son James junior grows up and ends up at rosebud . Married and can be found on those census records for a time. It appears he may have gotten a divorce . I place his. Yr of birth at about 1878 maybe ? While his dad james senior somewhere between. 1838 to 1845. Not sure which. But by the time 1861 rolls around hes mustered in and sent east to fight . Any info on these would be greatly appreciated .
" someone I least expected from out of bemidji minnesota claims I share a genetic tie to possibly both her son and grandson. And these two are from the Robertsons family from out of Veblen district .
I believe I might be on the verge of discovering the identity of my third great grandfather.
