Unfortunately not - I found it on e-bay and saved it on my pc, but didn't succeed in purchasing it (the final price was twice my monthly income )

Great photo! Are you able to read what the marker says? Hei! In the Greasy Grass magazine vol. 14, May 1998, there is the photograph in question with the following caption: "Previously unpublished August 1909 photo in the Keogh sector of the battlefield. On left is Peter Thompson. Next is Mrs. Knipe, whose first husband, First Sgt. Edwin Bobo, died at Little Bighorn, Danilel Knipe, and Curly. Center marker may be where Knipe indicated that Bobo's body was found." Best Regards from Finland Jari

Good suggestion, Jinlian.
It would be nice if we all got in the habit of giving the source of our photos and/or information. I know that's hard when you've got tons of photos on your hard drive and have read lots of books, but it will be extremely helpful to everyone in the long run, especially when trying to provide high resolution copies to people as requested for Dr. Medicine Crow. If you post an image from your private collection (meaning you own the original) you might consider watermarking it or adding a line of text to it because we cannot control who might lift it from here for their own purposes.

That's a great illustration of how much the mass grave/last stand hill area has changed. Thanks, Jinlian.
