Has anyone read Doreen Chaky's Terrible Justice: Sioux Chiefs and U.S. Soldiers on the Upper Missouri (2012)? What did you think?

Thanks, Carlo. Must have missed that. I don't think I'll shell out the money, but I live through Interlibrary Loan!
Did you ever read it?

It's on my large (and ever increasing) "to read" list, but haven't purchased the book yet. I'd like to read it together with Paul Beck's upcoming book "Columns of Vengeance: Soldiers, Sioux, and the Punitive Expeditions 1863-1864". Should be very interesting.
I did however just order a used copy of the "Images of a Vanishing Life" book, after reading your other post!
Best, Carlo
