Strong Heart warrior society was at least known among Oglala, Hunkpapa and Sichangu (Brulé) Lakota. Did Strong Heart warrior society exist among other divisions of Lakota ?
Did these Strong Heart societies have somethings else in common other than the name and a hardline view against the whites ?
Was there a some kind of alliance between these Strong Heart societies ?
How many members did these Strong Heart societies have each ? Did they have a constant number of members ? That is, did someone have to die or quit to recruit a new member ? If a member died, was there always a new member invited or was there an invitation only if someone had demonstrated that he was worth of being a member ?
The only names I remember to have seen regarding indivdual members of a Strong Heart warrior society are: Oglala Strong Heart = Crazy Horse + Moccasin Top Hunkpapa Strong Heart = Sitting Bull Are more individual names known ? Who was the leader of Oglala Strong Heart Society when Crazy Horse was invited as a member ? Who invited Crazy Horse as a member of the Ogala Strong Heart warrior society ? Did Crazy Horse quit as a member among the Strong Heart when he established Hoksi Hakakta (Last Born Society) ?
