In this picture, from Denver Public Library, the names are given, but I'm not sure who is who, or what tribe they are from. Anyone know? 1. Match names with faces? 2. Determine the tribe of Dakota? Dakota - circa 1890-1910 Charles Eisenmann (photographer) Identification on card: "Roaster, Standing Elk, Whirlwind Soldier, Walk About And Talk, Use The Shield, Jumper, Black Eyes"

The version I have - in the SIRIS collection - is labelled Fool Thunder and family, although he doesn't look like the man photographed by Barry in the mid 1880s...

The men in the back are from left to right: Roaster, Standing Elk and Whirlwind Soldier, all Sicangu leaders. The latter is the son-in-law of Spotted Tail.
I´m not 100 percent sure about the children and women, but I would guess that the names are also from left to right: Walk about and Talk (child), Use The Shield (woman), Jumper (child) and Black Eyes (woman).
