Refer to the post on Yellow Eyes by Dorothy Eiken. Thomas Stoneman and Joe No Heart testified at Yellow Eyes heirship hearing for the Dept. of Interior in March of 1914. I have a copy of the hearing and their testimony and fingerprints where they would have signed. I want to learn more about Stoneman and No Heart other than they were Indian Police at the time of Sitting Bull's death. Does anyone have any information? Yellow Eyes or Grey Stone Woman was my great, great grandmother. She was born about 1828 and died in Aug. of 1908. Frank B. Fiske took a series of pictures of her at Standing Rock. She also lived near Fort Peck before 1886.
