The following photo with accompanying caption is from Cowan's Auctions. Would anyone have any further identifying information on it? BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPH OF SIOUX FAMILY FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION The buffalo horn headdresses were regalia worn by leaders of the Strong Heart Warrior Society (Cante T’inza Okolakiciye). Here, the wives and perhaps a daughter of society members are being honored by wearing the headdresses and carrying the lances of these officers. The location is probably the Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota.
