From Cowan's Auction: { CABINET CARD OF D.F. BARRY AND CHIEF GALL, silver gelatin print, with Barry's West Superior imprint. Barry and Gall first became acquainted during the photographer's days in Bismarck, D.T., and remained life-long friends. From an 1880s negative.
Gall, a Hunkapapa Lakota Chief, participated in the Little Big Horn.
Provenance: The Mike Butler Collection of Western Photography} ******* I'm pretty sure this is a photo of Rain In The Face, and not Gall. Compare photos from the same time period: Gall Rain In The Face

the photos are very close, but not identical. the middle photo shows a small scar on the chin of the warrior, but the bottom one doesn't have it.
this doesn't prove, or disprove, anything. if they are both Rain in the Face, then they were taken at different ages. maybe 10-15 years apart? so it is possible that the scar happened later in life.
otherwise - yes. they almost look like twin brothers.
