The Society for the Study of the Indigenous Languages of the Americas [ www.ssila.org/ ] is the major organization for professionals and other individuals interested in the study of the native languages of North and South America. It publishes a quarterly newspaper and directory of linguists currently studying native American languages. It also sponsors two annual meetings.
