You won't see this on the news of course, but the Cheyenne River rez got hit pretty hard. The Cherry Creek community was under water, I hear. And the White Horse community on the Moreau/Owl River is evacuated along with many other low lying areas. The Cheyenne River is over it's banks for the first time in years. Keep them in your prayers.
But the prairie will bloom this summer in ways many children have never seen. Nature is a mother.

very bad problem. there are elders trapped for days. the mud is always bad this time of year but more so this year cuz of all the rain. a good place to help that is legit: www.friendsofpineridgereservation.org
