I'm new to the board, and have a question I hope someone can answer, I'm from FT Belknap, MT and am a descendant of Long Fox the Assiniboine, is this the same Long Fox that is in the Yanktonai photos? Edward S Curtis photographed the Assiniboine Long Fox when he was older I tried to put the photo of him on here, but don't know if it will work.

The picture of Long Fox posted by Nakotacat is that of a Ihanktowanna Chief that ended up wih his people on the Fort Peck Reservation. During the negotiations in 1888 for the Fort Peck Reservation he spoke up and talked of his trip to Washington D.C. in 1872. I could look and find the transcripts for the negotiations where he spoke and post it later.
