Does anyone have any information, guidance or suggestions regarding a Native American lady named Amanda Bull, whether she might have been related to Sitting Bull, or where I might investigate further?
She married a gr. gr. uncle around the turn of the 19th/20th Century in the Oklahoma/Texas Panhandle area and family tradition is that there was a kinship with the great leader, although I have my doubts.
Thnx in advance.

Sorry she has no relationship to the lakota or sitting Bull. I have seen her name on the list that claims she is related but none of the stories are true. Amanda Bull is not related to sitting bull you can email at earthw7@yahoo.com

Montea,
I have taken a look at Ancestry.com... there are many Amanda Bull´s listed there in census records from different Indian nations. Remember that there also was a Oglala called Sitting Bull and and an Arapaho Sitting Bull who was prominent in the Ghostdance era. As he was located in Oklahoma, perhaps Amanda was related to him? Just a thought...
Best wishes
