Friends and contributors,
at the end of this month we have our new website and message boards online for six month… so that´s kind of a half anniversary! Yes, only six month, but if you look how much posts and threads we already produced in relation to how few people we are so far that´s something we should all be proud of.
Now, Diane and I are just thinking of new improvements. Our website needs to be updated in some way… the main point is perhaps that the articles should be easier to find. The link page is something we wanted to update earlier, but haven´t found time for, yet. And yes… there will be a new photo for the front page soon… Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you all!
Dietmar

Jinlian,
thank you for your suggestions. I´ll have to ask Diane about the tags... she had a similar idea before, but it could be that it indeed means too much time and work.
Thanks also for the photos and the reminder. I remember clw said the same. It´s always hard to find the one best photo that fits for the main page... I have two photos in the pipeline. I´m sure I can pick one of your´s for the next round.

I'm pleased to say that all but two of the biographies Dietmar compiled have now been posted. The two that haven't been added belong in the Plateau classification, but I'm going to hold off on adding another regional section until I'm sure about the structure of the site as it grows.
I will be going through all of the pages in December, looking for opportunities to link to those who are mentioned. (For example, if Crazy Horse is mention on another's page, there will be a link to Crazy Horse's page.) I will also be adding "thumbnail" photos where available to the top of each bio and in the appropriate search boxes. I suppose I could also add a box in the top of each bio that says "See also" and links to those pages that mention the person elsewhere, if that is what jinlian meant.
Thanks for the suggestions, and I'll try my best to implement them as we progress.
Happy Half-anniversary, Dietmar. You have been very patient with me, and I appreciate it very much! I couldn't hope for a better partner.
Diane
