This one uses the same backdrop seen in the photo of Brave Bear and his wife Old Crow and his wife, with Mrs David Pendleton standing at rear and Sioux Woman (Lillie Bent) sitting at the left Young Whirlwind and family again Reverse

Forget what I said upthread about the photo of Joseph that has been credited to both Sargent and Snell. Joseph is clearly too old to be at Leavenworth. It's one of a series of photos of Nez Perce people taken after they were moved to Idaho (1885) by E.G. Cummings of Lewiston - and from the dress, it was taken at the same time as this one:

Could be... Shunge Xowe (Medicine Horse) of the Oto or Blaine Faw Faw and his father Wah No Say (Oto), 1884 or... Unidentified Oto man and boy, 1888 or later Cheyenne and/or Arapaho women, circa 1884 We had this one earlier, but at the Oklahoma Historical Society Archives, it's given the title, 'Cheyenne Fanny and daughter.' Here's another we had earlier: At the Oklahoma Historical Society Archives, it's credited to Frank Sargent (now of Arkansas City)

Red Wolf, Cheyenne (possibly part Lakota or a Lakota who had married into the tribe) - a better version of the image posted previously Red Wolf (or maybe a Lakota who married into the tribe) and his niece; the former in his scout uniform Lillie Bent (or Sioux Woman), Cheyenne. Further upthread, I posted the same photo as 'Arapaho girl'... No idea which is correct, nor if 'Sioux Woman' is a name and not just someone married into the tribe.

A few more Snells, courtesy of Californian. Bear with me if I repeat any... However, several of the identifications in the images Californian obtained - and not just those by Snell - are incorrect, so this may be right... may be wrong... This man is identified as Lame Deer here, whereas further upthread, we have him as Lame Bear As another example, further back in the thread, this is labelled as an Arapaho group, which, I believe, is correct... Young Whirlwind Wolf Face Obviously a girl... Spotted Wolf's wife. She can be seen with Spotted Wolf in front of her tipi (with another woman; possibly another wife) in an image in the Cosand and Mosser thread - though it's possible that too is a Snell photo While I'm leaning toward this being a Snell, this is not the Black Coyote from upthread
