I have done alot of research but still looking for more photos. Writing a book.
Mary white Owl- was married to John B. Provost- Laporte Co. They had about 10 children .Then she went to pine ridge with most of her children and later married a Jumper.
Her children are :
Johnny Provost (1858-1882) Indian scout /interpreter for McGillycuddy
William Provost (1860-1880) scout
Antoine Provost (1863-1938) traveled with buffalo Bill
Charles Provost (1863-1948) traveled with buffalo bill
Oliver Provost( 1867-1917) traveled with Pawnee bill
Elizabeth (1868-1935)
Louis Provost (1871-1924)
Ida (stinking bear)
