I’m interested in learning more about Chief Sandhill of the Heviksnipahi clan (Tsistsistas- Southern Cheyenne)
he was barely involved in the sand creek massacre due to leading his clan away from the immediate area a few days(?) previously due to his mistrust with the government. there isn’t much more written about him other than his meeting with custer so if anyone has any other information on him or his family then I’d be very grateful to hear it as I’ve found out pretty much all there is to find on google from books and other webpages.
