Early recurved bow with four arrows. The bow is attributed to be Jicarilla Apache and made of Osage Orange tree wood, sinew backed for extra reinforcement and elasticity. The bowstring is sinew. There are faint traces of paint. The bow is dated to approx. 1860’s. The arrows are from the southern plains (modern day eastern Colorado, western Kansas, western Oklahoma, northwestern Texas), estimated to date to the 1860's/1870's.
