This photograph dates to 1904, the year of Kicking Bear's death. The man standing at Short Bull's right should is captioned as 'Chief Iron Bull' but he looks very much like Kicking Bear to me. Please help me out, anyone with facial recognition skills!

Approaching this question from a different angle, does anyone have any idea who Chief Iron Bull was? Did he look like this?

Most of the Lakota in the picture above are from Cheyenne River, but Short Bull and Iron Bull visited a council at Cherry Creek, and both were coming from Pine Ridge according to newspaper articles of 1904. Other delegates from Rosebud (Hollow Horn Bear, Lips and Reuben Quick Bear) and Crow Creek (White Ghost) were there as well in July 1904 to discuss the Black Hills treaty/agreement of 1877.

Thanks Dietmar,
I believe that's the answer, even if it's not the one I wanted!
Does anyone have another photo of Iron Bull, for purposes of comparison?
