I am really looking forward to reading this new book on Lakota Chief Spotted Tail. It´s a collection of essays by renowned Western History writers now available from the Museum of the Fur Trade in Chadron, NE. Our Kingsley Bray contributed a chapter on Spotted Tail's youth and young manhood, 1823-1850, and our Ephriam Dickson a chapter relating to the Great Sioux War. Other authors include: Randy Kane, Paul Hedren, Douglas D. Scott & Peter Bleed, Thomas Buecker & Charles Hanson, James E. Potter, Thomas Powers and Richmond Clow. The book is edited by James A. Hanson. www.furtrade.org/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=60&product_id=708

The postage ($40) costs more than the book ($30). Coronavirus permitting, I'm hoping to visit in October, so I will try to get a copy then.

I finally got a copy and it looks very good. I came back with a small suitcase full of books, so I have not yet started on this one.
