We have dozens of pieces of pottery made at Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati in the late 19th and early 20th century with portraits of Native Americans for which we have been able to match up an official photographic portrait. There are four for which I have not been able to. Can anyone identify the sitter, photograph or narrow down a tribe?
Thank you so much!

Thank you! I found the other photos and am so glad you are able to verify.
I still hope to identify the second from the right.
In addition, I am trying to find the exact image used to complete this vase of Jack Red Cloud. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks Diane!
I identified the second image. He is Red Lodge, a Yanktonai Sioux- the image was taken in 1872.
I would really like to find out which photograph was used to make the portrait of Jack red cloud though. I will try that thread too.
