Well, it's probably a perspective trick - Jack is standing behind the others and probably that makes him look shorter. In the same way, Plenty Coups, who was (more or less) as tall as Medicine Crow, looks taller and bigger. Not sure about Wooden Leg... in other 1913 images he looks plumper and older, but for sure he was in NY when the photograph was taken...by the way, is the man standing between Two Moons and Wanamaker actually Mountain Chief (Blackfoot)?
