Here's a nice bogus Jack Red Cloud photo taken by Trager after Wounded Knee. the text claims it shows Jack Red Cloud bringing news of the surrender and the end of the war to some lady friends. Luckily, a photographer was there to capture the moment for posterity and, presumably, profit. Not only is it not Jack Red Cloud, but one of the lady friends is a man. The photo's actually cropped; the full version has another woman in at the right.

Found two beautiful photographs taken at the Wanamaker-organized "Last Great Indian Council" - Jack Red Cloud can be seen sitting on the right, near Plenty Coups (smoking the peace pipe in the first one and addressing the councile in the second). I'm posting them also in the Plenty Coups' photographs thread, as they belong there too.

I once read that Jack Red Cloud's Lakota name was actually Wankan Wicasa, or Man Above, and that he was also known as Wokeya Wanica, Without Lodge... and a slightly different version:
